As designers, we love when the seasons change because that means new collections from some of our favorite vendors and designers. (Hello, shopping spree!) Spring is all about bringing the outdoors in, and this spring, we are seeing new collections ranging anywhere from preppy florals to organic bohemian prints to glam metallic motifs. With so many options available, it can be tricky to navigate through the new spring collections to find which decor pieces are best for your personal style. That’s where we come in! Here, we’re featuring some of our favorite fresh patterns for spring to jumpstart your spring decor refreshes.

Black & White

Call us old fashioned, but we never get tired of a classic black and white color scheme. Even though springtime evokes visions of fresh blooms and bright colors, we can’t resist a neutral color palette. To make this palette fresh for spring, consider using updated geometric patterns, mixing in shades of gray, and incorporating floral imagery.

Preppy & Playful

When we think of playful springtime decor, we think of large scale floral prints, gingham plaid, and stripes. So. Many. Stripes. To keep a balance between the preppy stripes you’re sure to see this spring, including large scale floral or ombre patterns will keep your room looking and feeling cohesive.

Bright Bohemian

For a bold take on spring, we can’t resist a bright and unexpected color palette with oranges, teals, and just the right amount of yellow. If this doesn’t make you feel like you’ve been transported to Palm Springs, we’re not sure what will.

Glam Pastels

No surprise here, but we love any color palette including millennial pink. (It is one of Havenly’s signature colors, after all!) Pastels are a no-brainer when it comes to spring patterns, and we find that they are a perfect pairing with lots of metallic accents. And, pastels look great alongside geometrics, florals, ikats… the sky is the limit!

Island Eclectic

Okay, you caught us. This abstract palm patterned chair combined with pops of yellow and blue totally has us daydreaming about our next summer getaway. For a unique way to bring this vibe into your home, try channelling your daydreams with bold island colors, and big, graphic patterns.

Pro tip: Try to mix up your pattern and scale within your textiles, but keep them within the same color family for a cohesive look.
