50 Shades of Green
Maybe you haven’t noticed, but we’re totally on board with the many shades of green we’re seeing in home decor this year. We’re seeing shades of green everywhere from the bright and natural Pantone color of the year, Greenery, to our very own deep and moody Juniper Isle. This on-trend color can easily be incorporated through pillows, accessories, and wallpaper. Or, you can opt for live plants, succulents, and fresh flowers to bring greenery into your home.
Ombre and Sunset Hues
Did you think that you had seen the last of the ombre trend? Well, think again! Ombre is still going strong, and it’s working its way into our homes in many new ways. Ombre is still present in decorative accents, and we’re also seeing a shift to entire rooms incorporating an ombre palette. Instead of an entirely monochromatic palette, we’re seeing rooms that incorporate colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. Think of this like a sunset or sunrise with hues from ochre yellow to blush pink to rich aubergine.
Circular Forms
You can hardly look anywhere these days without seeing a round mirror, orb shaped lamp, or elegantly curved chair. We love the softness that these circular forms bring to our designs, and the beautiful contrast that the round forms lend to our more modular rooms.
Marble, Marble, and… More Marble
We’re now starting to see marble mixed with unexpected materials, and we’re here for it. On its own, marble is glamorous, luxurious, and sleek. Marble is now being combined with other natural materials like wood and iron in tables, nightstands, desks, you name it! This year, we also expect to see marble motifs pop up in rugs, wallpaper, and pillows.
