Havenly clients often come to us looking for a living room space that can do it all, and we’re always up to the challenge. Optimizing a living room that’s perfect for lounging, watching movies, entertaining and even taking Saturday afternoon naps can be difficult, but our professional interior designers have the skills to make it happen. Designer Stafford Bensen helped a client do just that recently when she dreamed up this beautiful southwest inspired living room design that incorporates all of the above activities—and then just a little bit more!
After the client’s initial survey indicated they liked southwest, tribal prints and were leaning towards purchasing a grey sectional, Stafford went to work. Drawing around a sandy, desert colored core of neutrals injected with a few tribal patterns, she was able to make us feel like we were watching a New Mexican sunset unfold right in front of our eyes.
We love how Stafford’s design draws on the warmth of those desert elements to create a welcoming atmosphere. Afternoon siesta, anyone?
