We do everything we can to make the process of decorating your home as enjoyable as possible. From matching you with the right designer to providing an online workspace where you can easily collaborate on your project, we’re here for you! But it’s truly the designers themselves who make design dreams come true.

This week, we’re celebrating Havenly designer Chelsea S., who consistently sends us over the moon with her eclectic, glam and rustic home design projects. She’s also a frequent contributor to the Havenly Blog, where she writes about everything from designing the ideal small space oasis to creating a perfectly balanced living room. We love her style and think you will, too!

A Space To Play

Chelsea: “Adrienne wanted a space her daughter could grow into, a space she was excited to ‘play and sleep in, with cute girl colors.’ She requested an ‘interesting bed’ so we went with a canopy, tent bed, hopefully enticing Kenna into wanting to sleep in it when transitioning from her crib. We ended with a fairytale room any little girl would love to spend time in. A cute reading nook, storage for toys, and best of all the tent bed!”

Designing A Sanctuary With Calming Glam Accents

Chelsea: “Christina wanted a bedroom that was ‘warm and inviting,’ A sanctuary she could relax in. I noticed from her inspiration she was drawn to classic spaces, with a little bit of glam touches in metallic accents. We went with a mostly neutral space, bringing in textures and differing shades of gray to create her oasis.”

We loved it when Chelsea wrote, “Your entryway is like the jacket of a good book: It showcases all of the enticing bits to come.” We couldn’t agree more! And her 5 Tips To Beautify Your Entryways are must-reads for anyone looking to make a great first impression on their guests.

Tip One: Choose stylish storage to create a clean and uncluttered entry that will set the tone for the rest of your home.

Tip Two: Brighten your entryway and create a stunning visual landscape with a strategically-placed entryway mirror.
